The trial session was launched at 10:30 am in an Iranian court ruled by Judge Salavati here in capital Tehran.
The first session of Washington Post’s reporter’s court was adjourned after three hours at 13:30 in the afternoon, but neither Rezaian nor his lawyer talked to media.
Jason Rezaian and his wife Yeganeh Salehi were arrested in Tehran on July 22, 2014 on charges of espionage. Salehi however was later released on bail.
